About

This is Keisha Lewis, and after serving as your National Business Agent, I have decided to return to Branch 1100 to better represent our Letter Carriers. Having previously served as a full-time officer from 2007 to 2022, I am now running for Branch President again.

Our Team

Our team brings experience, dedication, and a proven track record of advocacy. We are committed to representing the interests of our members with integrity, transparency, and action. Together, we offer strong leadership built on years of service and hands-on experience, effective communication that keeps members informed, empowered, and heard, and a strategic vision focused on both protecting our rights and moving our organization forward. We believe in teamwork and accountability to ensure no one is left behind and every concern is addressed. Above all, we have a deep commitment to education, mentorship, and building the next generation of leaders. We don't just talk about making a difference — we live it every day. Our Campaign Focus

Grievances

Your grievances will not be sent to Step B without first being thoroughly reviewed by an officer. Keisha and her team will ensure each grievance is carefully evaluated, with all necessary additions and corrections made, to give it the best possible chance for success.

Legislative

Keisha Lewis will continue the work she began in building strong relationships with our congressional representatives. She remain committed to representing our branch’s interests at the local, state, and national levels. She will also maintain active involvement with our labor councils in Los Angeles County, Orange County, the Inland Empire, and San Diego County.

Quarterly District Labor-Management Meetings

Keisha and her team will bring back the practice of holding quarterly District Labor-Management meetings within our branch. These meetings were a cornerstone of progress and transparency during Keisha’s previous term as president—and they will be once again.

Community Services

Keisha and her team believe our branch has the strength and size to be a national leader. By placing the right people in the right roles, they will maximize our impact. During Keisha’s time as Executive Vice President and President, this approach helped the branch earn multiple awards. They will build on this success by expanding our Food Drive, MDA, Heroes, and Veterans programs.

Uniting the Branch

Our branch has become divide and The Clear Choice Slate are ready to bring us back together. With proven leadership, energy, and commitment, they will motivate our stewards, organize inclusive and fun events, and push back against division. Their goal is clear: to foster unity, strengthen solidarity, and rebuild a culture of shared purpose.

Education

Stronger Training. Stronger Union.

If elected, Keisha Lewis will strengthen our branch by focusing on what matters most—real, effective training:

🎙️ Branch 1100 Podcast – On-the-go updates, contract tips you can listen to anywhere

🛠️ Continuous Hands-On Training – Practical, real-world sessions that prepare stewards and members for what they’ll actually face on the floor.

I am a city carrier in Bellflower, California. On February 14, 2018, I was hit by a car, and due to this, I lost my right leg. I was out of work for three years. During this time, I met Keisha Lewis; she has been an angel. When I was ready to return to work, I was met with many difficulties because my accident was not on the job. Keisha helped me return to work right away."

Thank you Roxann for always being there for me, for your assistance, and listening when I needed it the most.

Thank you for caring Eli Torres. I also would like to thank you for listening  and being there for me. You were not in charge of my office but you have always been there for me.

I endorse Keisha Lewis for Branch 1100 President and her team. There is nobody better to represent Letter Carriers with honesty and integrity. I have been a union member and a shop steward for over 45 years and I can't think of any better team than the Keisha Lewis team to represent me and my fellow carriers. With every issue and concern they have always responded promptly and with a heart. Mrs Lewis has been our president before and did a fantastic job for years. I endorse this team because they are the best!!!
